I'm assuming the client's son us making false allegations.

Without more detail, my immediate thought is that this involves either stealing or other misconduct he perceives while you are on the job.

I would immediately let my supervisor know giving complete details and then ask to be replaced as soon as possible -- a week at the longest.

Yes the sons are making flase aliugasions, so much as sladering me. The boys have went to the courts 1 month after signing the durable poa to try and declare him incompatent, which he is mentally fine, health is ok, mobility is poor that cause for him to need assistance. I was asked by the gentlemen to provide care/assistance. The sons started coming around when they learned over a MILLION DOLLARS is going to be given to their father ( inhairitense )

I am a private duty companion caregiver, not a CNA. Currently I am caring for an elderly gentleman who lives in an assisted living facility in Virginia. I work independently and am paid by the family. My question is, in Virginia is it required that I am a CNA to work in an assisted living facility? This gentleman is in hospice and they provide a CNA twice weekly to shower him and a RN comes twice a week to monitor his health. I am paid to provide companionship only, no medical. Thank you

I think your best source is the Virginia department of licensing that addresses medical licenses.

Are you thinking of becoming one, and/or expanding your line of services?

shell, I'd repost this question with the info you replied with. Your question didn't seem to get the circulation. It sounds like this man might need protection.
